Who is responsible

HOOFMAP LTD, trading as Streyed, is the data controller. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact for anything in this policy: hello@streyed.com.

What we collect and why

Your email address and sign-in timestamps: to run your account, the free trial and sign-in links. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.

Subscription status and payments: our payment provider Stripe tells us whether your subscription is active, and we keep a record of each subscription payment (its date, its amount and whether it was refunded). Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems. Legal basis: performing our contract, and our legal duty to keep financial records.

Game progress and settings (levels played, scores, preferences): session results are stored against your account so your progress follows you across devices; some settings also live on your own device. Legal basis: performing our contract.

Your time zone, browser language and device type, read from your own browser when you ride. The time zone tells us roughly which country you are in, so we can show prices in your currency and send emails at a sensible hour, without any IP lookup or location tracking. The language tells us whether you are reading the game in your first language, so we can decide what to translate. The device type (phone, tablet or computer, and which browser) helps us fix bugs and spot accounts being shared. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the service well.

Service emails: we send a welcome when you join, a note after your first ride, a reminder before your free trial ends, a weekly summary of your riding, and notices about payments. These are part of the service, not marketing, and every one has an unsubscribe link for the non-essential ones.

The creator link you arrived through, if you came to us through one (streyed.com followed by a creator’s name). We remember which link it was: on your device for up to seven days, so the longer free trial it offers is still there when you sign up, and then on your account. We use it to give you that trial and to credit the creator if you later subscribe. Creators are told how many riders joined and subscribed through their link, as totals by month. We never tell them who you are, and nothing follows you to other websites. Legal basis: performing our contract with you (the trial the link offers) and our legitimate interest in running our creator programme.

Daily reminders, only if you switch them on: your browser gives us an address to send notifications to, and we store it to send you at most one reminder a day. You can turn them off at any time in your device’s settings. Legal basis: your consent.

Support emails you send us: to help you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in supporting customers.

We do not use your personal data for advertising and we do not sell it, and we do not send marketing email without your consent. Sponsors may appear inside the game itself (banners by the arena, sponsored fences), the way hoardings appear at a real venue: that involves no personal data at all.

Who processes it for us

Supabase (accounts and database), Lovable (hosting and email delivery), Stripe (payments) and Google Workspace (our own mailbox). Each acts under contracts that protect your data; some may process it outside the UK under recognised safeguards. Our hosting provider also gives us aggregate visit statistics (pages viewed, by country and referring site) that do not identify you.

Cookies and local storage

Streyed uses essential storage only. On your device we keep you signed in, save your game settings and progress, and, if you arrived through a creator’s link, remember that link for up to seven days so you get the trial it offers. Our hosting provider sets one short-lived security cookie that tells real visitors from automated traffic; it does not identify you. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics scripts and no cross-site tracking.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open, then deleted within a reasonable period. Email us and we will delete your account and its data, subject to records we must keep by law (for example, payment records for tax).

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it: email hello@streyed.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), with whom we are registered.
